1. Booking & Payments

• All sessions booked online are to be paid in full to secure your time slot.

• Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

• 50% (Deposit) of full amount paid is non-refundable.

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled once

at no additional charge.

• No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the session will forfeit the deposit.

3. Session Start & End Times

• Please arrive on time. Sessions will begin and end as scheduled

to respect all clients’ bookings.

• Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without a reduction in fee.

4. Deliverables & File Handling

• Session files are backed up at the end of each session during the booked time clients are

responsible for providing their own drives for their own backup, if needed.

• In the event session backups are needed 30 days or more after the session, we may be able to

help. Session backups may be able to be transferred. If so, it would result

in a $75 file retrieval fee.

5. Client Conduct

• Professional conduct is expected at all times. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may

result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

6. Studio Policies

• No smoking inside the studio.

• Only registered guests are permitted in the studio during your session.

• Please notify staff of any special requirements in advance.

7. Liability

• Dauphin Street Sound is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

• Clients are liable for any damage caused to studio property during their session.

​

8. Media & Promotion

• With your permission, session photos or short video clips may be taken for Dauphin Street

Sound’s social media and promotional use. Please let us know if you would prefer

not to be featured.

9. Gift Certificates

• Gift certificates may be purchased and redeemed for Dauphin Street Sound sessions and

services.

• Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

• Gift certificates must be presented at the time of booking or payment.

• Gift certificates are transferable but Dauphin Street Sound is not responsible for lost or

stolen certificates.

• Gift certificates expire 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

• Sessions booked using a gift certificate are subject to the same booking, cancellation, and

rescheduling policies as regular bookings.

• All Gifted sessions are redeemable for up to a year, take place in Studio A with a staff

engineer, and follow our other listed studio guide.

10. Studio Assignment & Engineer Scheduling

• Dauphin Street Sound reserves the right to change the studio space or staff engineer

assigned to your session at its discretion. While we strive to honor all preferences and

requests, changes may occur due to scheduling, maintenance, or operational needs.

Clients will be notified of any significant changes in advance whenever possible.

11. Guest Policy

• Clients may bring up to 2 registered guests in Studio B and X and up to 4 registered guests in

Studio A.

• All guests must adhere to studio policies at all times. The studio reserves the right to

refuse entry or remove any guest who does not comply with studio rules or disrupts the

session.
